Contribution Guidelines
Help us maintain quality and authenticity in our tafseer collection
Our Mission
AyahReflect aims to create the most comprehensive, accessible, and authentic collection of Quranic tafseer (commentary) in multiple languages. Every contribution helps Muslims around the world better understand and connect with the words of Allah (SWT).
1
Use Authentic Sources
All tafseer content should be based on authentic Islamic sources:
- •Classical tafseer works (Ibn Kathir, Al-Tabari, Al-Qurtubi, etc.)
- •Authentic Hadith collections (Bukhari, Muslim, etc.)
- •Works by recognized Islamic scholars
- •Cite your sources when possible
2
Write Clearly and Accessibly
Your tafseer should be understandable by Muslims of all backgrounds:
- •Use clear, simple language
- •Explain Arabic terms when used
- •Provide context for historical references
- •Avoid overly academic or technical language
3
Maintain Unity
We aim to unite Muslims, not divide them:
- •Avoid sectarian or controversial interpretations
- •Focus on agreed-upon mainstream interpretations
- •Present multiple scholarly views respectfully when relevant
- •Avoid political statements or contemporary controversies
4
Reflection Guidelines
When suggesting reflections:
- •Make them practical and actionable
- •Connect them directly to the verse's message
- •Keep them realistic for everyday Muslims
- •Include acts of worship, character improvement, or good deeds
5
Review Process
All contributions go through a review process:
- •Submissions are reviewed for accuracy and authenticity
- •We may edit for clarity while preserving meaning
- •Rejected contributions will include feedback when possible
- •Approved contributions help millions of Muslims worldwide
